In this world, I’m an art director that accidentally stabbed himself with a knife when he was 7, curious to see if it was possible to cut open an empty plastic gallon of Ocean Spray’s cranberry juice with a knife. Long story short - it wasn’t. And I have the scar to prove it.

In another world, I’m an elven Paladin in a Dungeons & Dragons game trying to save the world one sacrifice at a time by facing life and death in the name of a fictional deity and collaborating with others to make an immersive story for all of us to enjoy.

In both worlds, I am driven by curiosity, taking risks, and rolling the dice. I push myself to experience new things, like delving into new genres of music everyday (check out my playlist in the header) or trying new things at a restaurant each time I go. As a young creative, I embrace my ability to take chances in order to make a name for myself and learn more about the world around me.

Years ago, I discovered a knack for visual acuity through taking photos, creating films, and making things in Photoshop. I thought that what I was making at the time would be “Portfolio ready,” but unless you’re looking for someone who’s proficient in using iMovie to make ads, maybe it’s for the best that I lost those files.

Since then, I’ve overcome stage fright and a fear of public speaking. For years, I’ve been dancing and acting whenever I get the chance to. I’ve also written, directed, and promoted an entire theatrical performance, complete with dances, lighting, a venue, and drama (both on stage and behind it).

Now, I’m a photographer/videographer and leader in a non-profit cultural organization called FACT@VCU. Through this organization, I connect with my Filipino heritage while forwarding my passion as a creative. It truly is the best of both worlds.

On the way, I've created really cool fictional stories with my friends in Dungeons & Dragons, created some ads, and fell in love with making things using my vast imagination.
